Montefalco Sagrantino 25 Anni 1999 – Five Grapes

Deep ruby red, with violet tinges, and perfectly thick. On the nose it shows pronounced toasty, mineral and leather notes, which then give way to aromas of spices, black pepper, coconut, tobacco and layers of fruits of the wood. Still young in the mouth, quite fresh and with firm tannins, it shows an outstanding body. Very complex and long on the finish, this wine must be jealously guarded in the cellar for many years to come.
